Taylor Swift says her mom helps her “keep it real”.

The country music star, 19, says if her mom wasn’t unafraid to hurt her feelings or tell her when she is stepping out of line she could’ve gone off the rails by now.

“My mom is with me all the time and she makes me keep it real,” Taylor dished. “When you start making your way up it’s easy to surround yourself with people who just say yes to you all the time and tell you just what you want to hear, and my mom will never ever do that.

“She is not afraid of hurting my feelings or telling me something I don’t want to hear. It keeps me real and grounded.”

Taylor recently revealed that she’s been busy decorating the condo she’s just bought.

“I just bought my first condo in Nashville so I am always looking at tile samples and wallpaper now,” she said. “I’m so excited. It might seem old — but I’m having so much fun!

“I’m doing whimsical quirky eclectic tree house. I just really want it to be different from everywhere else I see. I love doing this interior designing.”

Hayden Panettiere Worried Somone Might Stab Her

Hayden Panettiere is scared someone might try and stab her.

The Heroes star, 20, says she lives in fear that an unhinged fan may believe she has the power to heal just like her character Claire, and harm her — expecting her to regenerate.

“I’m just afraid somebody’s going to stab me one day and think that my power is real and they expect me to start healing,” she says. “I’ve been thinking about that since the first season, I’m like what if somebody really thought I was indestructible.

“Because I’ve heard some wacky things come out of people’s mouths that you go, ‘Guys, it’s not real’.”

Hayden recently revealed that being famous makes her feel powerful.

“I’m in a very powerful position and so I feel a responsibility to speak out for causes I believe in. It’s very empowering — especially for a young female,” she said in August this year.

“It’s sad but it’s true that there are people who can work their entire lives trying to change the world and someone who is in the public eye can come along and say one thing and they’ve done more for that cause than the other person ever could.

“Being able to make a difference feels amazing.”

Kanye West Rehab Bound?

Kanye West has an alcohol problem — and is constantly getting into rowdy drunken states where he loses control of reality, it has been claimed.

The Stronger hitmaker — who caused controversy when he stormed the stage during Taylor Swift’s acceptance speech at the MTV VMAs earlier this month — is heading for a stint in rehab, according to a report in UK tabloid the Daily Star.

“His drinking is getting worse,” a source told the paper. “When he has too much he can be mean and obnoxious. If he doesn’t get help soon, things could really spiral out of control.”

West is planning to check into rehab after he finishes his Fame Kills tour with Lady GaGa in January.

“Kanye doesn’t want to spend time in rehab but knows he needs help and is taking steps in the right direction,” the insider added.

“He’s been boozing heavily ever since his mother died following her tummy tuck operation a few years ago.”

West, 32, blamed the pain from his mother’s 2007 death for causing him to grab the mic from Swift, 19, as she accepted her Best Female Video award.

“And you know, so many celebrities, they never take time off. I’ve never taken the time off to really — you know, just music after music and tour after tour,” the rapper recently told talk show host Jay Leno.

“I’m just ashamed that my hurt caused someone else’s hurt — and I don’t try to justify it because I was just in the wrong. That’s period.

“But I need to, after this, take some time off and just analyze how I’m going to make it through the rest of this life, how I’m going to improve. Because I am a celebrity, and that’s something I have to deal with.

“And if there’s anything I could do to help Taylor in the future or help anyone, I’d like — you know, I want to live this thing. It’s hard sometimes.”

Chris Brown to Make Musical Comeback

Chris Brown will make his musical comeback next month.

The singer — who hasn’t played a concert since assaulting former girlfriend Rihanna in February — will headline Power 105.1’s Powerhouse ’09 concert alongside Keri Hilson, The-Dream, Trey Songz, Mario, Day26 and Ginuwine on October 27.

But music industry insiders claim the concert is a step down for Chris compared to the shows he was playing before the assault.

“This is a pretty C-list line-up,” a source told MSNBC. “Keri Hilson is good, Ginuwine has some following, but this is nothing like the line-up that would have surrounded him this time last year.

“Chris was the Michael Jackson heir apparent, he had huge endorsement deals. This isn’t the sort of show you would have expected from him before he got in trouble.”

According to industry experts, the Run It hitmaker is still not considered a “safe” booking but knows he needs to start rebuilding his career.

“Chris isn’t advertiser-safe yet — his image has a long way to go,” said one insider. “But for this show, he’ll draw a crowd, so the producers of the show are willing to pay. Just because he pleaded guilty doesn’t mean that all his fans have gone away. He’s got to start getting back onto the scene at some point.”

Chris punched, kicked and choked Rihanna in his rented car in February after attending a pre-Grammy Awards party.

He received his sentence — five years probation and six months community labor — in August, and was left distraught when the judge banned him from contacting or seeing Rihanna for five years.

He has admitted being ashamed of what happened during a TV interview, and confessed he would struggle to cope if Rihanna found love with a new man.

Michelle Obama Loves French Fries, Burgers

Michelle Obama — President Barack Obama’s wife, obviously — says she “loves” eating French fries.

But the 45-year-old does admit she have to work hard to stay in shape.

“I try to have no absolute no’s,” she tells Prevention magazine in its November issue.

“I love French fries, I like a good burger, and I like pie. And that’s okay. I would be depressed if I felt I could never eat the things that I love.”

“There are some great bakers [in the White House kitchen],” Obama adds. “If you like pie, it will be there always — at every meal. So for me, it’s about setting up new boundaries. I had some challenges with that, but I’m balancing out.”

So how does Michelle maintain those famously buff arms? “I enjoy arm exercises because you can see what it’s hitting,” she explains.

“I’ve had more time [to work out] as my kids have gotten older. There was a period, actually right before the campaign started up, that I was really in tip-top shape. I was really there. And then my husband ran for president.”

“I also don’t want my girls to be obsessed about food,” Michelle adds. “We don’t have a ‘no junk food’ rule — I just want them to think about their choices. When my older daughter asks, ‘Can I have pie?’ I’ll say, ‘Did you have it yesterday? Well, what do you think?’ And she’ll come to the conclusion that, ‘You know, you’re right, I shouldn’t eat pie every night.’”

Kristen Bell takes snacks with her when she travels abroad — because she is afraid of eating foreign food.

The American actress shot scenes for new movie Couples Retreat in Bora Bora, a French Polynesia island, and was so nervous about trying the local cuisine she packed her own provisions.

“I do travel with a lot of snacks,” she said. “I was concerned about the food in Bora Bora, and so I packed a lot. I like knowing what I’m eating. I don’t like mystery dishes.”

Among the items she took were granola bars and butterscotch-flavored desserts.

“I knew that all I needed was water and a mini-fridge, both of which I had in Bora Bora — in my contract,” she said. “I made little dishes of pudding, and we had them for dessert.”

The 29-year-old actress was happy to share her treats with costars Vince Vaughn, Jason Bateman, Jon Favreau, Kristin Davis and Malin Akerman — but soon realized she had been a little too generous with her snacks.

“By the end, I had cleared my fridge out and I was literally bribing Jason’s wife Amanda to give me their daughter Franny’s Cheerios,” she said.

Beyonce Gets ‘Fierce’ With Lindsay Lohan

Beyonce Knowles reportedly had Lindsay Lohan thrown out of her own dressing room because the singer wanted it for herself.

The former Destiny’s Child star was performing at the F1 Rocks concert in Singapore over the weekend and had ordered her entourage to get her the largest dressing area backstage.

However, Lindsay — who was hosting the event for British TV network Channel 4 — had already claimed the room for herself as she arrived before and was left upset when she was told she would have to vacate it.

“I’ve been a bit down,” Lohan told Britain’s Daily Mirror newspaper. “It was a strange night. Everyone was being aggressive and bothering me. I really didn’t like it.”

In the lead up to her performance, Beyonce made her support acts sweat as she wouldn’t allow them to use her air conditioning.

Although temperatures backstage approached 90 degrees and people were passing out, Beyonce’s entourage refused to switch on her personal air cooling fans as they were just for her.

British DJ Seb Fontaine — who suffered heatstroke — told Britain’s Daily Star newspaper, “We were told, ’No they are Beyonce’s fans.’ I wasn’t asking to play her drum kit on stage. I just wanted to keep cool.”

In her 139-page rider, Beyonce also demanded six beauty chambers, fitness equipment, an authentic fruit platter and tea and honey.

Other acts to perform at the event — which took place at Fort Canning Park — included Black Eyed Peas and Gwen Stefani.

Kim Kardashian has rekindled her romance with ex Reggie Bush.

Kardashian, 28, and Bush, 24 — who had been dating for two years when they announced in July they were taking a break — have now decided to get back together and give their relationship another chance.

“Yes, they are back together,” a source told Us Weekly magazine. “They took a few months off and couldn’t be apart. The time away was needed so that they could figure out what their priorities were.”

Another source told E! News that Kim’s sister Khloe’s Sunday wedding to Lamar Odom “made her miss Reggie, so she flew to see him.”

Kim has previously revealed she’d like to settle down and have kids.

“I think it is such a very unselfish and amazing thing to do,” she told People magazine in July this year. “If I couldn’t have kids, I probably would adopt. If I could have my own, I would have my own.”

Jennifer, 37, admits she struggles to juggle her career with being a mother, but tries her best.

Ricky Gervais — Jennifer’s co-star in the film, which is about a world where nobody lies until one man decides to shake things up — claims being a parent has also affected Jennifer’s vocabulary.

“She is ‘Miss Goody Two Shoes’,” he said. “When she swears, she says things like ‘dang it’ and ‘darn’. Her favorite swear word is ‘rats’. That’s not a swear word!”

Friends Cast to Reunite For Movie?

Are Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox, Lisa Kudrow, Matt LeBlanc, Matthew Perry and David Schwimmer about to reunite for a Friends movie?

Yes, they are — according to new reports!

Britain’s News of The World newspaper — citing James Michael Tyler, who played Gunther — claims the fivesome have all signed up to reprise their characters on the big screen.

“Friends: The Movie is definitely on,” said Tyler. “I still keep in touch with a lot of the cast and they say that they are really keen.

“The one thing I can tell you is that I am definitely on board to do the film.

“I really loved my time on the show and I am looking forward to meeting up with the old gang again.

“I just hope we can do justice to the show in a film.”

Friends creators David Crane and Marta Kauffman will write and produce the film, due in cinemas in the summer of 2011.

“The cast haven’t set the world alight since the show finished,” a source said.

“But this film could relight some of their flagging careers in a big way.”

“But everyone knew the story had to be right and well written. Getting the creators on board was a massive step forward for the project.

“The show did lose a lot of its shine in the last few seasons, but with the actors all in the forties it would be a real interest to see how their characters have developed.”

Kudrow — who played Phoebe — has previously spoken of her desire to make a Friends movie. “It would be so fun to be with all those people again,” she said.

“But our show was not like Sex and the City — ours was multi-camera, in front of a live audience.

“It’s a completely different feel. You’d have to bring the tone down, and I don’t know how it would be. I’ll just stay open.”

Jude Law ‘Refuses to See Baby’

Jude Law is refusing to see his newborn daughter — until DNA tests prove he is the baby’s biological father, according to British tabloid reports.

The actor’s baby mama, Samantha Burke, gave birth to his fourth child, Sophia, earlier this week.

But Jude — who is currently in New York, where he’s starring in Hamlet — wants to be sure the baby is definitely his before he makes a bond with her.

“Jude is still very cautious about Sam and Sophia,” a source told Britain’s News of The World. “Until he is 100 per cent certain she is his daughter he is only communicating through lawyers.

“If he is the father he will meet his obligations to the child. He’s hoping for an early chance to establish that he is genuinely her dad.”

Sam has told friends Jude paid for antenatal care and for the birth. “It was an act of kindness rather than an admission that he was the dad,” the source said.

Sam’s representatives are now negotiating a six-figure deal for pictures of the baby, but Jude’s lawyers have asked her not to talk to the media until they agree a financial package if the baby is confirmed as his, according to the News of The World.

Khloe Kardashian’s wedding will be anything but traditional.

The reality TV star will wed beau Lamar Odom — who she has dated for about a month — this coming Sunday.

And according to the reality TV star’s stepfather, Bruce Jenner, Khloe’s nuptials will be rather unconventional.

“Khloe keeps saying she does not want a traditional wedding,” Jenner said. “She does not want the first dance thing. There is no maid of honor as of right now.”

Jolie — who met and fell in love with Pitt on the set of Mr. and Mrs. Smith, while he was still married to Jennifer Aniston – thinks it would be fantastic to work with Brad again but doesn’t have the time because they raise six children together.

“I’d love to work with him but we have a lot of kids!” said Angelina, who is mom to Maddox, eight; Pax, five; Zahara, four; Shiloh, three; and 15-month-old twins Knox and Vivienne.

“We try to find a balance in our lives because we want to educate our children and fulfill our dreams as artists and as people,” she added. “So before making a decision we think about it thoroughly because our family is our top priority.

“On a daily basis we make sure their schooling is going right and we’re disciplining them properly and we’re spending enough time with all of them individually.”

Jolie, 34, recently insisted she is “quite” a normal person.

“I am just a dedicated mother and really quite normal,” she told the UK’s OK! magazine. “I dedicate my free time to my United Nations work — I have a sincere interest in social issues.

“At the same time, my main focus is on my children. I want to be with them for the big moments in their lives.”

Megan Fox has a criminal past — she was once taken to court after she was caught shoplifting in Wal-Mart!

The actress has revealed how, during her teens, she was busted for stealing make-up from the Olsen twins’ cosmetics line and was subsequently banned from the chain store.

“I don’t know if the ban was for life, but when I was 14 or 15 I did get caught and convicted of stealing Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen cosmetics from a Wal-Mart,” Fox said.

“They actually took me into the court and I had two choices and I took the second choice, which was wrapping [gifts] for Christmas, which was awesome, it wasn’t really a punishment.

“The other one was they were gonna make me wear a sign that said I stole from Wal-Mart and stand outside Wal-Mart for three days.”

Speaking to chat show host Jimmy Fallon, Megan, 23, also revealed that she’s afraid of the dark.

“I’ve been afraid of the dark all my life,” she said. “I leave the lights on all the time and if the light is off, I have to run across the room to get to the switch. I can’t walk through a dark room. I’m afraid of what I can’t see.”

Khloe Kardashian and Lamar Odom haven’t done a bad job with their wedding invitations — considering they were put together at the last minute!

People magazine has obtained the elegant white and silver invite with Kardashian and Odom’s first name initials on the front.

The invitation notes the wedding is black tie, and hosted by Kardashian’s mom, Kris, and her stepfather, Bruce Jenner.

The back of the invite states it was designed by invitationers Lehr & Black, who also created lavish wedding invitations for Jessica Simpson, Gwen Stefani, and Eva Longoria Parker.

The couple’s wedding ceremony, which will reportedly be held outdoors, will be followed by a lavender and white-themed tent reception.

Why the rush?

Khloe and Lamar have dated for just over a month. So the question on everyone’s lips is why they’re marrying so soon.

Sources claim the couple’s hurrying down the aisle to “create buzz” for Khloe’s reality TV show, Keeping Up With the Kardashians.

“It creates a lot of buzz that the wedding is being planned and happening within such a short period of time,” said one insider. “It’s going to make for huge ratings, and Khloe and Lamar are sure about everything, so they all figured, ‘Why not?!’

“It may seem like it’s a quickie wedding to everyone else but Khloe knows what she wants.

“She and Lamar started talking about getting married really soon after they met. They knew this was it, and they’re just having fun with this whirlwind.”

“It’s happening so quickly because of the show,” adds another source. “They want to create some drama for the cameras. Meetings and decisions are being delayed to the last minute.”

Khloe is also reportedly being paid around $300,000 by OK! magazine for snaps of her big day. The couple will walk down the aisle this coming Sunday

“He took shots at it and asked everyone else to do the same.”

But a source close to Rob — who’s currently in Vancouver, Canada, filming the third Twilight flick, Eclipse — has played down the claims.

“Rob doesn’t throw darts at his own picture,” said the source. “He has a great sense of humor and may have joked about it.”

Rob, 23, recently revealed that he never bothers to watch his performance after he has completed a movie — because it’s like “self-flagellation” and he doesn’t want to “piss on anyone’s grave”.

“It’s like self-flagellation, so why would I bother?” British magazine The Guardian Guide quoted him as saying.

“And I didn’t want to piss on anyone’s grave. It was hard to watch my first scene in which I turn up in this funny little hat.”

Jay-Z: ‘Growing up Without a Father Was Painful’

Jay-Z has spoken about the “pain” he suffered when his dad walked out on him when he was 11-years-old.

In an interview with chat show queen Oprah Winfrey, the rapper admits growing up without a father has clouded his entire life.

“I just felt anger at the whole situation,” he said. “Because when you’re growing up, your dad is your superhero.

“Once you’ve let yourself fall that in love with someone, once you put him on such a high pedestal and he lets you down, you never want to experience that pain again.

“So I remember just being really quiet and really cold. Never wanting to let myself get close to someone like that again.

“I carried that feeling throughout my life, until my father and I met up before he died.”

Jay, real name Shawn Corey Carter, later found it his dad had moved in with his grandmother 10 minutes up the road.

The star’s mom, Gloria, then stepped in and set up a meeting.

“She set up a meeting and now I realize why — it makes all the sense in the world,” he told Oprah.

“I remember very distinctly that I had a conversation with her in my kitchen. I was saying: ‘You know, Ma, I’ve really been trying to look inward, and maybe I’m just not meant to fall in love like other people do.’ She just looked at me like, ‘Hush up, boy.’

“And I guess from that point, she figured out what was wrong with me and she planned a meeting between me and my father.

“I was like, ‘Ma, I’m a grown man. I don’t need a dad now.’

“I guess I still had too much resentment and anger.

“When my mum set up this meeting, I told her he wouldn’t come — and the first time, he didn’t.

“At that point, I was really done, but mom pushed for another meeting because she’s just a beautiful soul.

“The second time, he showed up. And I gave him the real conversation. I told him how I felt the day he left.

“He was saying stuff like ‘Man, you knew where I was.’ I’m like, ‘I was a kid! Do you realize how wrong you were? It was your responsibility to see me.’

“He finally accepted that.”

“When I was nine, my dad’s brother got stabbed, and my dad went looking for the guy who did it,” Jay added.

“People would call in the middle of the night and tell him, ‘So-and-so is out here.’

“So my dad would get up, get his gun, and go outside to look for the guy.

“After a while, my mom was like, ‘Hey, this is your family now. You can’t do that.’

“But this was my dad’s baby brother. And my dad was in so much pain that he started using drugs and became a different person.

“So I understand that the trauma of the event, coupled with the drugs, caused him to lose his soul.

“When we met up, he was broken. He had a bad liver, and he knew that if he continued drinking, it would kill him. But he didn’t stop.”

Megan Fox: ‘I’m Afraid of The Dark’

Megan Fox is afraid of the dark.

The Transformers star, 23, says she freaks out if the lights aren’t left on.

“I’ve been afraid of the dark all my life,” Fox told chat show host Jimmy Fallon. “I leave the lights on all the time and if the light is off, I have to run across the room to get to the switch. I can’t walk through a dark room. I’m afraid of what I can’t see.”

Megan also revealed she keeps a cup of water beside her when she’s reading to overcome her bizarre hatred of paper.

“Some people don’t like nails across a chalkboard because it gives them goosebumps,” she added.

“I don’t like dry paper. Scripts, newspapers or anything that’s not laminated, I have to keep licking my fingers.

“If I’m reading I have a cup of water to dip my fingers in. I’m really neurotic.”

Christian Slater says it is a “miracle” he has reached 40.

The He Was A Quiet Man actor never thought he’d make it to the landmark age when he was a Hollywood hellraiser in his 20s.

“I just hit 40, so what more can I say? I mean, the fact that I’m 40 is a miracle. I’m on the other side now,” he said.

“I feel like I’ve hit a certain milestone and I’m going onward and upward. If I were looking back, I would say to myself during the tough times, ‘If you can make it to 40, nothing in the past can prevent you from being present today.’

“There’s a great author who said, ‘We don’t live life, life kind of lives us.’ I’ve been out of control. But if I hadn’t been, I wouldn’t know how to be in control.”

Christian had numerous run-ins with the law in his younger days, including being arrested for criminal possession of a weapon at a New York airport in 1994, but he insists he has now put his past behind him.

He even went back to finish high school.

“When I had kids, my whole idea on education started to shift just a little bit and I definitely wanted them to finish high school, but I hadn’t finished high school,” he said.

“So I knew that if I tried to push them, I would lose the argument because they’d be like, ‘Hey dad, you never finished.’ So I went and sat in a classroom with a bunch of students and got my General Education Development diploma.”

Christian has two children — son Jaden, 10, and daughter Eliana, eight — from his failed marriage to Ryan Haddon.

Olivia is convinced most British people share her belief in the existence of alien life.

Describing her otherworldly encounter, the 60-year-old actress said, “I have seen one when I was very young. It was unidentified and it was flying.

“It’s true that I’m intrigued by them. I have seen so many shifts in belief systems over the years.

“In England most people now think UFOs are possible. Twenty years ago, how many people would have thought that?”

Olivia is not the only celebrity to have encountered UFOs.

Singer Robbie Williams is an extra-terrestrial fanatic and claims to have had no less than three encounters with alien life.

Robbie, 35, first saw a “square thing” pass 300 ft above his head as he was sunbathing in California. The second occurred as he played a song he wrote about alien contact.

Robbie also claims he saw a “big strip of black light” appear when he was in a recording studio.

Barbra Streisand Still Plays With Dolls

Barbra Streisand says she still plays with dolls.

The 67-year-old singer was poor when she was growing up, so makes up for it now by treating herself to toys.

“I built a doll shop for my dolls because when I was a kid my doll was a hot water bottle,” she said. “When you don’t have things you have to use your imagination.”

Barbra believes having no money as a child had a profound effect on her.

Despite being a multi-million selling recording artist, she still worries she can’t afford expensive holidays or nice houses.

“I still can’t believe when I go on a boat that I can actually afford it, because when you grow up poor you’re always poor in a sense,” she said. “There’s a part of you that always stays that little girl who never had a doll and all the other kids had one.”

Barbra is such a fan of dolls she has been working with toymakers Mattel to create a mannequin of herself.

She saw the finished product for the first time while on the TV show, and admitted she was not totally happy with the end product.

“I worked on this doll very hard,” she revealed. “Actually, the hair is a little too silver, the bow is a little short, but it’s OK.”

The teen star WILL be starring in the upcoming Sex and the City movie sequel, it was confirmed Friday.

Miley, 16, reportedly has one scene, and in it she wears the same dress to a red carpet event that Kim Cattrall’s character, Samantha, buys to look “hot and young.”

Recent reports claimed the Hannah Montana actress is scheduled to film her part on Oct. 16.

“They’ve asked her,” a source said earlier this month. “But she hasn’t confirmed. Right now, they’re just holding the space for her.”

It was reported in August that the teen queen sees appearing alongside the show’s leading ladies — Cattrall, Sarah Jessica Parker, Kristin Davis and Cynthia Nixon — as a way of becoming a serious actress.

“Miley sees this as a transition from teen stardom to more adult roles,” dished a Hollywood insider.

“We’re all wondering how long it will take Kim to have Miley knocking back Cosmos and ogling all the men. Seriously though, all the girls are excited to have Miley on board.”

Robbie Williams: ‘Addiction Almost Killed me’

Robbie Williams’ addiction to prescription drugs almost killed him.

The Bodies singer checked into rehab on his 33rd birthday in February 2007 after realizing he was “physically and mentally ill” from years of taking painkillers and anti-depressants.

“It was damn serious,” he said of his three-week stint at the Meadows treatment center in Arizona. “Robbie Williams does not go into rehab just if his life gets a bit out of control. It was damn serious. Death had to knock on my door to help me with my decision.”

The former Take That star — who was smoking 60 cigarettes a day and downing 36 shots of espresso coffee when he went into rehab — admits he constantly lives in fear of a relapse but refuses to let it ruin his life.

“I have a self-destructive character but does this hold me back from being happy? No,” he told Germany’s Stern magazine.

One of his reasons for the troubled singer’s newfound happiness is girlfriend Ayda Field, who has helped the 35-year-old singer turn his life around.

“A friend said, ‘Robbie, I know a woman who would be perfect for you,’ and he was right,” explained the star.

“She didn’t try to change me and just like that, she changed me for the better. I am a very happy man at the moment. I’m now in love with someone who returns this love as strongly as I love her. I’ve never experienced that before.

“That’s what makes me so careful in this relationship, because I don’t want to hurt Ayda.”

Michael expressed his thoughts in a series of taped interviews conducted by his friend Rabbi Shmuley Boteach in 2001.

In one conversation, Wacko Jacko said, “Hitler was a genius orator. To make that many people turn and change and hate, he had to be a showman and he was.”

Boteach then asked, “You believe that if you had an hour with Hitler you could somehow touch something inside of him?”

To which Michael replied, “Absolutely. I know I could. Nobody is all evil. You have to help them, give them therapy, teach them that somewhere, something in their life went wrong.”

The tapes — which recorded more than 30 hours of dialogue — were intended to be released in 2001, but were delayed when Boteach and Jackson had an argument.

By the time they had reconciled, Michael had been arrested on child molestation charges and he decided the tapes might sway public opinion further away from him.

The interviews have been published today, in a new book called The Michael Jackson Tapes: A Tragic Icon Reveals His Soul In Intimate Conversation.

Boteach said, “He desperately wanted these conversations to be published. Nobody had any sympathy for him before but there was a groundswell of sympathy after his death.

“I believe a public who once judged Michael negatively are now seeing a fuller picture. He was a man who yearned so deeply to do good with his life but was ultimately consumed by loneliness and pain.”

George Clooney’s driver took him to a dentist when he broke his hand.

The Hollywood actor was in a great deal of pain when he slammed his digits in a car door while at his home in Lake Como, Italy, and asked his aide to drive him to see an emergency doctor.

However, the driver became confused and ended up taking him to a physician who specialises in teeth.

“He drives me into town… and he takes me to a dentist,” George revealed. “Dentist’s chair, dentist’s lamp, everything.

“The guy comes in, pulls the dentist’s lamp down onto my hand. He starts pulling on my fingers, which really hurts. At last, he says, ‘Hmm, I think it’s broken…’ I’m saying, ‘Is there a real doctor anywhere in here?’”

George and his driver then had to cross the border into Switzerland to receive the correct treatment at the private Ars Medica clinic.

At the time of the injury last month, George’s spokesman Stan Rosenfield played down the seriousness of the incident.

He jokingly said, “The doctor has given him 30 to 40 years more to live, and no live animals were harmed during the wrapping of the hand!

“The only reason he went to the hospital was to get a temporary cast put on.”

The climb to the 19,000 ft summit of the African mountain was organised by Kenna, whose father suffered from waterborne diseases growing up in Ethiopia.

He said, “We wanted to make sure there was a way people knew this was an issue and a way for them to do something about it. This is a global issue. It’s not an Africa problem. It’s not a South America problem. It’s a world, global problem. In America, 11 million people go without water.”

Jude Law ‘Won’t See Daughter Until December’

Randy Quaid and Wife Arrested in Texas

Randy Quaid and his wife, Evi, have reportedly been arrested in Texas.

The couple were taken into custody for allegedly failing to pay a $10,000 hotel bill in upscale Santa Barbara, Calif.

They’re currently being held in the town of Marfa in west Texas, Presidio County Sheriff’s officials told the Associated Press Thursday.

The actor — who is the brother of actor Dennis Quaid — and his wife are being held on bail set at $20,000 bail each, according to the office’s spokesperson, Drew Sugars.

The felony warrant is for burglary, defrauding an innkeeper and conspiracy. Sugars also said that detectives had not yet interviewed Quaid.

Randy, 58, is a former Saturday Night Live cast member and best known for his roles in the National Lampoon Vacation movie franchise.

“Angelina’s off her food again, which is a sure sign the relationship’s in trouble. Her bones were jutting out and she looks ill,” a source told a British magazine.

“Brad’s stopped trying to persuade her to eat, even though she’s down to less than 7st 2lb. He says she doesn’t listen to him, so it’s pointless. It’s like he’s given up, full stop, on their relationship.”

The couple — who raise six children together — have apparently come to blows over Jolie’s various humanitarian projects.

“Brad admires her, but he feels it’s gone too far and isn’t for him,” said the source. “While she’s touring refugee camps and meeting officials, he has to look after the kids. He has nannies to help, but it’s still exhausting.

“He’s drowning his sorrows with alcohol. The pace of his life is manic, so his way of calming down is to have a few drinks.

“Brad didn’t go with Ange to the refugee camp in Kenya or when she took their daughter Zahara, four, to Ethiopia last Wednesday.

“He’s heading to LA soon to seal a few movie projects and he’s spent several days on his own this month visiting an urban regeneration project in Spain. It hasn’t been the peaceful summer they needed for their relationship and now they’re going their separate ways again.”

Sarah Jessica Parker Denies Kim Cattrall Feud

Sources on the New York City set of the Sex and the City movie sequel have shot down claims its stars are at war with each other.

Recent reports said Kim Cattrall and Sarah Jessica Parker had been arguing non-stop and that the feud was threatening the future of the eagerly-awaited movie.

“While the cast is all smiles on the outside, the level of dislike is unbelievable. No-one is having a good time on this shoot,” a source said.

But a rep for SJP insists the claims are “false on every level”.

“The camaraderie on the set is super tight,” a source added. Really good.”

It was also claimed that Sarah — who plays Carrie Bradshaw — was finding it hard juggling her filming schedule with the demands of her six-year-old son James and baby twin daughters Marion and Tabitha, who were born via a surrogate in June.

These claims have also been debunked.

“It’s important for [Parker] to be a hands-on mum and now it’s being twisted against her?” the source said. “She has what’s an appropriate and responsible [amount of help]. It also doesn’t cause any issues with her professional duties.”
